Description

Slim Pasta Penne is a low-calorie and zero-carb substitute for regular penne. It is made from organic Konjac flour, which is high in soluble fiber. Konjac flour is made from a root vegetable called Konjac, which is akin to yam. Flour made from the root is mixed with water and then made into gluten-free penne shapes.

How to use

Rinse Konjac 2-3 times under cold water before heating
Heat in an open pan for 1-2 minutes or in a microwave for 1 minute.
Add to your favourite sauce, stir-fry, soup or salad.

How is it zero carbohydrates?

Our Zero Carb Konjac recipe is mostly made of 96% Water and 4% Konjac flour. Konjac flour is made from a root vegetable called Konjac, which looks like yam. Konjac flour is rich in water soluble glucomannan fibre. When mixed with water, it absorbs several hundred times its own weight. Since water contains no carbohydrates this range contains zero grams of carbohydrates.

How will it help me lose weight?

Our meals contain Slim Pasta, Noodles and Rice, which means your meal already have far less carbohydrate than if it was made with regular pasta, noodles and rice. That is almost 60g of carbohydrates saved from your a meal.

What is the difference between the Organic and No Drain range?

The No Drain range, although isn't organic, it is still made of 100% natural ingredients. The No Drain range contains a little more nutrition since tapioca starch is added for a better experience.

Is this good for health?

Yes, Absolutely. Konjac has been consumed as a staple food in Japan for many centuries.

What’s the difference between Eat Water and conventional?

Slim Pasta, Slim Noodles and Slim Rice are alternatives to regular pasta, noodles and rice. They are slightly chewier because they are made from organic konjac flour. The Slim range is also very absorbent, so if you add these foods to a sauce that is runny, it will absorb a greater amount of flavour. The down side of eating traditional pasta, noodles and rice is the high calorie, carbohydrate and associated sugar content. For example, regular durum wheat pasta contains 352 calories and 71.6g of carbohydrates (per 100g serving). Compare that to Slim Pasta, which contains as little as 9 Calories, 0g of Carbohydrates and 0g of sugar and it’s a satisfying way to lose weight without going hungry.

What are keto foods?
